CLASS POLICY - If you are taking a new owners class, please bring the appropriate accessories and manuals. Classes must be paid in full at the time of reservation. You may register by phone with a credit card; if you are paying by check, your place in not secured until your payment is received. Class fees are nonrefundable; however, in-store credit will be issued if withdrawal from class is made 48 hours prior to class time. In the event the class minimum is not fulfilled, you will be notified of the cancellation 48 hours prior to the class and all fees will be refunded. In the event of illness or inclement weather, please notify us of your absence and we will try to arrange a makeup in a future class.

FREE Join The Smocking Shop as we say “Goodbye to one era and Welcome a NEW .” In December we said goodbye to Keep the World Sewing Club after many wonderful years. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers over the years for their excellent participate. Starting in January 2008, we will be replacing Keep the World with a new program called “WHAT’S HOT!!!”. This once a month club which will be FREE to everyone whether they bought their machine from The Smocking Shop or somewhere else. We will go over the hottest new trends, newest products and most important new techniques. So please join The Smocking Shop on the first Monday Night of each Month from 6:30-8:30 to join in the fun. 1) Monday Aug 4, Sept 8 6:30-8:30 SERGER CLUB B $15 .00 per month Our serger club will help you to become more accustomed to your 936 serger whether it’s new or you have it a while. You will make a simple project every month and also learn a new technique. Come join us for this fun and informative class. Taught by Fay Brown. Please ask for supply list when signing up for class 1) Monday Aug 18 10:00-1:00 2) Monday Sept 15 10:00-1:00 HEIRLOOM CLUB B $25.00 per month In the heirloom club, each month we will practice a new technique while making beautiful project. This class will not only use the beautiful heirloom techniques by machine, but it will also use the embroidery features of your sewing machines. Join Fay Brown as we explore heirloom and embroidery. 1) Friday Aug 22 10:00-3:00 New HEIRLOOM CLUB B $25.00 per month In the heirloom club, each month we will practice a new technique while making beautiful project. This class will not only use the beautiful heirloom techniques by machine, but it will also use the embroidery features of your sewing machines. Join Fay Brown as we explore heirloom and embroidery. 1) Monday Aug 18 10:00-3:00 KIDS SEW YOUNG SEW FUN CLUB B $15 per month This is a hands-on opportunity for your child to improve his or her skills as they make a fun and age appropriate project each month. Children 9-14 are all welcome.
